Biography

Widnes born Adam played for Halton Farnworth Hornets and Widnes St Maries before joining his home-town club where he captained the club’s Under 16 team. Progressing through the Vikings’ Academy structure he made 15 appearances, scoring 9 tries, in his first spell with Widnes while adding 8 appearances and 3 tries in loan spells with Workington and North Wales Crusaders. On leaving the Vikings Adam spent two years in Australia which included a stint with Redcliffe Dolphins before returning to the UK and joining Salford, which included loan appearances for Swinton and Rochdale. The former Bankfield High School pupil cites his debuts for Widnes and Salford, along with his hat-trick against London Broncos, as his career highlights. He names his Uncle and each of his coaches as major influences on his career, while his ambition is to take the Vikings back to Super League. Away from rugby Manchester United fan Adam works in Water Hygiene for Total Environmental Compliance and spends his spare time with his family while also following Darts, Boxing and Snooker.
