Over the course of the coming weeks, we will be showcasing all 2020 Kit and Training Range Sponsors, with Widnes based company WSR Recycling Limited the latest brand to be featured, and Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce they have become Official Kit Partners for the 2020 season.
The company brand will be proudly displayed on both the Vikings home and away jerseys next season in a new and exciting partnership, as the waste management company continue their trend of backing local businesses.
WSR currently operate out of a £1.7m ‘waste warehouse’ located on Ditton Road, just a stone’s throw away from the Halton Stadium, the home of the Vikings.
Their aim is to provide effective waste solutions by delivering excellence and quality in their solutions to transforming waste, with WSR believing that utilising waste and taking responsibility for protecting the environment is key to global sustainability, socially, economically and environmentally.
Currently, the Widnes based company processes over 250,000 tonnes of waste per year, turning that into refuse derived fuel and recycled aggregates as part of their business.
WSR also offer waste services to the local industry, including pubs, shops and restaurants in the Widnes area, and are dedicated to recruiting locally.
