Widnes Vikings can confirm Mike Butt will depart the club at the end of the season, to take on a new opportunity with Salford for 2027.
The winger joined the club from Swinton Lions in 2023, and has since gone on to feature 77 times for the Vikings, scoring 39 tries.
Everyone at Widnes Vikings would like to thank Mike for all his efforts in a Widnes shirt, and wish him all the best as he takes on this new challenge in his career.
