Newcastle Thunder have provided Vikings’ fans with a supporter guide ahead of Saturday’s trip to Blaydon RUFC.
🎟️Ticket information
Supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to help ensure a smooth and speedy entry on matchday.
Newcastle Thunder operates digital ticketing, with tickets available via mobile devices through the club’s ticketing system. Print-at-home tickets are also available for supporters who prefer to bring a physical copy.
Under-16s can attend Newcastle Thunder’s 2026 home fixtures FREE OF CHARGE when accompanied by a paying adult. No junior ticket is required.

đźš—Parking
The good news for supporters travelling by car or supporters coach, is that parking at Blaydon RUFC is FREE.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so supporters are advised to arrive early, particularly with a large play-off crowd expected.
Entry to the ground is via the main entrance, with Newcastle Thunder stewards on hand to direct supporters to the appropriate parking areas.
Accesible parking
A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available within the car park for Blue Badge holders, with additional pitch-side parking available for supporters who require it.
Please follow the instructions of stewards when arriving at the ground.
🚆Public transport
Crow Trees is well served by public transport.
Bus
The following services provide routes to the ground:
49 – Gateshead Interchange ↔ the stadium
X45 – Newcastle Central Station / Metrocentre ↔ the stadium
49 / 69 – Blaydon Station ↔ the stadium
These services operate regularly and provide a convenient way to reach Crow Trees.
Metro
Supporters travelling by Metro should travel to Newcastle Central or Gateshead Interchange, before connecting with the relevant bus service to the ground.
Train
The nearest railway station is Blaydon.
From Blaydon Station, Crow Trees is approximately a 30-minute walk, or supporters can take a short bus journey to the ground.
Newcastle Central Station is the nearest mainline station, with bus connections available from the city centre.
🏟️ At the ground
Crow Trees is home to Newcastle Thunder and provides supporters with an authentic rugby league matchday experience.
The ground features a 350-seat stand, alongside additional standing areas pitch-side, allowing supporters to get close to the action.
Our pitch side marquee will be up and free to access for all supporters, with our can bar serving the coolest drinks from our partners Wylam Brewery.
We’ll also have our catering van pitch side serving burgers, hot dogs, chips and all the trimmings.
 All amenities, food, drink, toilets are pitchside. There’s no need for fans to use the main clubhouse.Â
