In the latest edition of our interviews focusing on the importance of our NHS heroes, Danny Craven opens up about the multiple surgeries he has experienced through his career so far.
Danny talks about his nine surgeries and tells some funny stories including coming across teammates and teammates’ mums in hospital.
The Vikings fan favourite also tells us what it was like to go through one of his surgeries awake, and have his shoulder put back into place by the club doctor.
The chat follows on from our Careers Fair on Tuesday with RL Cares for NHS, where we welcomed staff from several departments within Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to showcase what they offer as employers within the NHS and had several special guest speakers offering careers guidance.
Danny also encourages anyone considering a new career to look into roles within the NHS and talks about the range of roles available, not only clinical ones but a plethora of vacancies available within the Trust.
