Ahead of the launch of Widnes TV, we have compiled a list of FAQs to make the process as smooth as possible.

How do I subscribe?

To subscribe to Widnes TV, click on the below link and click on the ‘Rent All’ button. Then, fill in your details to sign up with a Vimeo account and complete the purchase there.

How much does it cost?

The cost of Widnes TV will be £50, taken in one instalment, and will give supporters access to the service for 12 months. After 12 months subscribers will be required to renew their subscription.

When will payment be taken?

For supporters pre-ordering Widnes TV, payment will not be taken until the service goes live at midday on Wednesday 5th February. All other purchases following the official launch will be taken at the point of purchase.

Can I pay monthly?

There is no facility to pay monthly, all payments must be made in full.

How long will my subscription last?

All subscriptions will last 12 months from the point of purchase, which for pre-ordering customers will be Wednesday 5th February. Subscribers will be able to view all videos on Widnes TV during the length of their subscription and will need to renew their payment at the end of the 12-month period to continue viewing Widnes TV content.

When can I watch the first video on Widnes TV?

Videos will be live on Wednesday 5th February at midday, which will include a full match replay of Sunday’s Round 1 fixture away to Oldham RLFC.

What devices can I watch Widnes TV on?

Widnes TV can be viewed on all smartphones, tablets and laptops. Smartphone and tablet users can download the Vimeo app from your app store and sign in using your account details. Those with TVs that have the ability to mirror their smartphone/devices will be able to view Widnes TV on their television. When will full match replays be uploaded onto Widnes TV?

For games that are played on a Sunday afternoon, full match replays will be uploaded to Widnes TV on the following Wednesday. This is to keep in line with RFL operational rules and allow time for editing and uploading. For games not played on Sunday, full match replays will be uploaded to Widnes TV three days after the fixture is played.
