Widnes Vikings can confirm that forward Ryan Lannon has been released from his contract with immediate effect.
The decision to release the 29-year-old comes after he was unable to meet the expectations outlined in the terms of his contract.
Ryan arrived at the DCBL Stadium part‑way through the 2024 Betfred Championship campaign, making 17 appearances for the club and scoring two tries.
