Tim Sheens has named a youthful squad for Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Rochdale Hornets (kick-off 3pm).
The new Widnes head coach will take charge of the club for the first time this weekend, and has used this game against the League One side to gain further insight into a number of the younger players at the club.
A number of trialists will be involved on Sunday at Rochdale, as well it being an opportunity for supporters to get a look at new signings Liam Cooper & Connor Dwyer.
