Born in Hull Jordan began playing rugby at the age of five with Norland Sharks moving to Skirlaugh Bulls at the age of fourteen while a pupil at Sirius Academy West. In the early part of his career Jordan was driven by a desire to prove to himself that he could reach the top level of the game, while now his family is his driving force. Having represented the Hull Service Area in his early teens he went on to play for England Under 18s against their Australian counterparts in 2014, winning the Player of the Series Award. In 2021 ‘Abbo’ made his England senior debut against France which he names as a career highlight along with winning the Man of the Match Award in the Play Off Quarter Final victory against Warrington in 2021. Jordan joins the Vikings having had a year away from the game to re-charge mentally and physically with the target of playing regularly. Combining rugby with his career as a Financial Adviser the Manchester United fan takes an interest in most sports including darts and UFC while enjoying playing snooker.
