Over the course of the coming weeks, we will be showcasing all 2020 Kit and Training Range Sponsors, and today we are delighted to announce OM Contractors Limited have extended their sponsorship of the club by becoming 2020 Kit Partners.
Directors Tony O’Rourke and Alan Mason set-up the Widnes based company four-years ago and have over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, and will see their brand proudly displayed on the sleeve of the Vikings’ First Team kit next season.
OM Contractors specialise in all forms of groundwork, including housing and commercial development, utilities, traffic management, driveways and fencing, civil engineering and drainage.
The company are currently working on the groundworks of a £15m housing complex in Failsworth, Oldham, which will contain 158 units made up of luxury homes and apartments upon competition in April 2020.
OM Contractors have been associated with the Vikings since 2017, as they sponsored the club’s 16-14 victory over St Helens that year, before taking out Player Sponsorship of Danny Craven over the last two seasons.
Their company brand has also been proudly displayed on the club’s Academy shirt during the 2019 season, and OM Contractors were Executive Sponsors at the recent First Team fixture against Toronto Wolfpack.
Tony O’Rourke, Director at OM Contractors, commented: “With me being a Widnes fan and a Widnes lad, it was a no-brainer really, especially more so this year with the club falling into some problematic times.
“If you come from Widnes and you have the ability to do it, you need to support the club and I think we need to push that forward.
