Fan return information

Ahead of the return of supporters to the DCBL Stadium, we have compiled some important information and guidelines which must be adhered to when attending the DCBL Stadium.

Please be aware that all of these measures have been put into place in order to keep everyone safe, abide by all of the government guidelines in place and are also a result of the independent SAG meeting.

Supporters are reminded to plan accordingly with regards to their arrival at the stadium and also with the weather, as you will not be able to move seats at any point.

Information on how to book your seat will follow on Monday (17th May) once our system is up and running.

MASKS

All supporters, excluding under 11s and those medically exempt, are required to wear a mask at all times when visiting the DCBL Stadium. This includes while queuing to enter the stadium and when seated in the stadium. You may only remove your mask when eating or drinking.

Those medically exempt will be required to email the club stating this, while also providing proof of their exemption on the day. This is so stewards can issue you with a wristband and identify whether someone not wearing a mask is doing so because of their exemption.

E-TICKETS ONLY

Season Ticket holders will need to book their seat online for all three fixtures, with Season Ticket cards NOT granting you access to the stadium. This is because all seating is allocated based on the seats you select online, and this information will all be sent via email in an E-Ticket.

You will be sent a different E-Ticket for each fixture and production of this is the only way you will be able to enter the stadium. If you present your Season Ticket card and not your E-Ticket, you will not be able to enter the stadium.

For supporters who cannot order tickets online, we will be taking orders in person from our Stadium Shop, located on the South Stand past the former Ticket Window. Opening hours for the shop are 10am-4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

Tickets must also be booked in advance of the game, and there will no ticket booking on the day of the game.

Full details on how to book online will be released on Monday when our ticket booking system is live.

ARRIVAL TIME

All Season Ticket holders will be given an entry time which they must stick in order to enter the stadium safely. This will be based upon the block that their tickets are booked in, and will appear on their E-Ticket.

These times must be adhered to, or entry to the stadium may be denied by stewards on the gate. The reasons for this is to avoid large queues gathering outside the stadium and attempting to all enter at the same time, which would make social distancing measures impossible.

We understand that some supporters may be forced to enter the stadium earlier than they would usually, but we’re hoping this is only a temporary measure while restrictions are in place.

EXITING THE STADIUM

Just as there will be a phased entrance to the stadium, there will also be a phased exit which will be done block by block for each stand.

When the full-time hooter sounds, please remain in your seat until stewards signal that it is safe for you to head towards the exits. For supporters needing or wishing to exit the game early, please inform your nearest steward and they will be able to assist.

CONCOURSE BARS

Unfortunately, there will be no concourse bars open for our first fixture in front of supporters. This could be subject to change for future fixtures, and if any changes are made we will update supporters accordingly.

FOOD AND DRINK

Supporters will be able to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks into the stadium, due to the closure of the Concourse Bars. These items must be kept in a clear and see-through bag, so that stadium staff can see the contents of the bag without performing a search.

BAGS

Any type of bag that isn’t clear and see-through is not allowed. This includes rucksacks and handbags, as searching of bags will not be possible due to social distancing measures. Supporters with bags may be refused entry.

TOILETS

Toilets will be open but will be reduced capacity, with socially distanced queuing in place which will be stewarded on each concourse.

DISABLED ACCESS

Access for disabled supporters and those with mobility issues will be granted through either Gate 2 or Gate 3, located in the North West and North East corners of the ground. Wheelchair seating can be accessed by both of these points, and supporters requiring wheelchair access must email tickets@widnesvikings.co.uk to book your seat.

Those with mobility issues who struggle ascending and descending stairs are asked to select their seats in the first three available rows of Block A or B in the North Stand. This way, you will be able to access through Gate 2 and will have limited stairs to deal with.

Please avoid booking tickets in the West Stand.

CARER TICKETS

Supporters requiring a Carer Ticket will be able to book their seats online themselves, or can have their Carer do this on their behalf if needs be. All you will require to do so is the email address linked to the Season Ticket holder which was given when purchasing the ticket.

Alternatively, please email tickets@widnesvikings.co.uk with all the relevant information about your ticket and any special requirements.

SOCIAL BUBBLES

Supporters looking to form a social bubble can email tickets@widnesvikings.co.uk with full information on their group, and we will book your seats for you up to a maximum of six. You will need to send over the names and email addresses of all supporters in your bubble, the stand you wish to sit in and inform us whether you’re booking for the Whitehaven fixture or all three.

OUR LEAGUE

We can confirm that all three fixtures against Whitehaven, London Broncos and Sheffield Eagles will be broadcast live on Our League, and that any Season Ticket holders unable to attend these fixtures can watch for free as usual. No extra steps are needed as long as you have redeemed your code which has given you access to the games already so far.

Streams are also available to purchase for non-Season Tickets holders through the usual avenues.

SPECTATOR CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

By booking a ticket and entering the stadium, you accept the code of behaviour and agree to abide by the guidelines set out in this document.

You can find the full code of behaviour below.

We have aimed to answer all questions regarding the return of supporters, and if your question has not been answered please email us at enquiries@widnesvikings.co.uk.
