Widnes Vikings would like to update supporters regarding club operations given new government guidelines surrounding Coronavirus.
Due to the new guidelines around social distancing and mass gatherings, our Office Staff will be working remotely from home while the current enforced suspension of rugby league takes place.
This means that calls into the Club Office will unfortunately not be answered, with all queries to be sent to [email protected] where a member of staff will respond when possible.
We understand that supporters will have a number of questions surrounding the current season, however we will be unable to give an update until further guidance is given by the sport’s governing bodies.
This is a difficult and unprecedented situation, which is changing from day-to-day, and we can ensure supporters that any updates will be communicated through our social channels and website once any more information is provided.
All tickets purchased for our fixture with Toulouse Olympique, which was scheduled to be played on Saturday 28th March, will remain valid for the re-scheduled date.
We are not in a position to confirm when this postponed fixture, along with our away trip to Sheffield Eagles, will take place. However, if you are unable to attend the re-scheduled fixture once a date is announced, a full refund will be issued.
If you have purchased tickets for any fixtures originally scheduled for after the initial suspension of April 3rd which then become postponed, the above policy will also be in effect.
Given the current circumstances, all match tickets have been taken off sale both online and in-store until the season is back underway.
Merchandise will still be available to purchase via our online store, however the decision has been made to close our Club Shop within Widnes Market until further notice. This decision has been made to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and volunteers in line with government guidelines, although supporters are still able to make order enquiries via email at [email protected].
Widnes TV subscriptions can still be purchased from www.widnestv.co.uk, which includes a full match replay of our latest fixture against Swinton Lions in Round 5 of the Coral Challenge Cup.
