Quiz – Name the 1979 Challenge Cup Final line-ups

On this day in 1979, Widnes were crowned Challenge Cup winner for the fifth time, defeating Wakefield Trinity 12-3 at Wembley Stadium.

Widnes lifted the famous trophy in front of 94,218 spectators in the capital, before bringing the silverware home to Naughton Park.

This triumph came in the middle of one of the club’s most successful periods, taking part in seven finals in the space of 10 seasons and winning four of those.

To mark the 41st anniversary of that brilliant Challenge Cup triumph, we’re asking you to name the line-ups of both teams from that day.
