Ahead of our final home game of the Betfred Championship regular season, head coach Allan Coleman has issued a message to all supporters of Widnes Vikings
“I’d like to personally thank all the fans for their effort this season, it’s been nothing but phenomenal both home and away, they’re our inner strength, our 18th man if as you say.
“The reason we do it is for the fans and supporters of this club, I’d like to also thank the board in helping me create something special and help bring people on board.
“I also want to thank the volunteers and staff who’ve helped put the 19s development together, and just really working as a group.
“We feel as though we’ve got the best staff and volunteers in the competition, the board really want to drive the club forward, and we all do it for the same thing, we do it for the fans.
“A massive thank you from us, from players, staff, board, and all our volunteers to you fans for sticking with us and supporting us.
“We feel as though the good times are yet to come, with some very big games on the horizon, and who knows where we’ll be at the end of it, but I just feel like together we can make something really special happen.
“Enjoy the game this afternoon.”
