Widnes Vikings can confirm that Jordan Abdull has made his loan move to Sheffield Eagles permanent.
It was mutually agreed that with him having agreed to join Sheffield for next season, he would be released to enable him to play regular rugby for the rest of this year.
Vikings head coach Allan Coleman said: “We would like to thank Jordan for his services to the club and wish him the best of luck for the future.
“It’s great to see him back playing: we couldn’t guarantee him regular game time, and hopefully he’s got a club now where he can focus on that and play on a regular basis.”
The 30-year-old joined in the off-season after a year out of the game, and made nine appearances.
The club continues to work to identify possible new signings for this season and beyond.
