Widnes Vikings can confirm that Dan Williams will be leaving his role as Head of Media to take up a new opportunity.
Dan has played an important role during his time with the Vikings, leading the club’s media and communications operations with professionalism, creativity, and dedication.
His work has helped strengthen the club’s connection with supporters and commercial partners.
Everyone at Widnes Vikings would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Dan for his commitment and contribution, and we wish him every success in the next exciting chapter of his career development as he takes up a role as Digital Content Producer at St Helens.
Club Chairman, Stuart Murphy, stated: “Dan has been pivotal in building our social media reach over the last two and a half years. During his appraisal last year, he told me his ultimate goal was to head up Media at St Helens.
“While he’s not quite there yet, when the opportunity arose for him to progress his career at his hometown club, we could only offer our congratulations and be proud to have played a small part in supporting his ambitions. We wish him the very best!”
The club will now begin the process of recruiting a Media Manager. Anyone interested in the role or seeking further information can find out more HERE.
