Widnes Vikings can confirm that Kieran Taylor has joined Salford RLFC on loan.
The move will see Taylor link up with the Betfred Championship side to gain further senior experience, and he is in line to feature in their clash with Barrow Raiders this weekend.
The club has retained a call-back option on Kieran should he be needed.
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “Kieran’s a talented kid, but like Toby and Deacon, they’re not able to get in our first team at the moment with our squad being mostly fit. So it’s vital he gets game time elsewhere.
“He got game time in the cup against Thatto on Sunday, which was good for him, but with Danny Langtree now back as well as Sam Wilde and Max Roberts, his opportunities in the back row are limited, so this is a great opportunity for him on loan.”
Everyone at Widnes Vikings wishes Kieran the best of luck during his loan with Salford and looks forward to monitoring his progress.
