JAY CHAPELHOW UNVEILS COMMUNITY DEFIBRILLATOR AT NEW INN

Earlier today, Widnes Vikings forward Jay Chapelhow was on hand at the New Inn pub to officially cut the ribbon on a brand new community defibrillator, provided thanks to the incredible efforts of Aidan Jackson’s Community Fundraisers.

The installation marks another important step in improving access to life-saving equipment across the town, with this latest addition contributing to a growing network of defibrillators available in Widnes.

Aidan and his team’s fundraising work has been nothing short of remarkable — their efforts have now enabled the installation of 43 defibrillators in locations across the community, ensuring vital support is close by in the event of an emergency.

Speaking after the ribbon-cutting, Jay expressed his pride in representing the club at such an important community initiative:

“It’s fantastic to see the difference Aidan and his fundraisers are making. Access to defibrillators can save lives, and it’s great that the club can play a part in supporting that effort.

“The work they’ve done around Widnes is something everyone should be proud of.”

Widnes Vikings are proud to support Aidan Jackson’s Community Fundraisers and their mission to make Widnes a safer place for all.

The club would like to thank Aidan, his volunteers, and everyone who has contributed to fundraising efforts so far. Your continued support makes a real difference in our community.
