Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Head of Strength & Conditioning as Nathan Skupski comes on board with the club for 2025.
Nathan spent time with the Vikings last season assisting with our support staff.
On his new position with the club, Nathan said: “I want to extend my gratitude to the club for this incredible opportunity and send a big thank you to Adam, the previous Head of Strength and Conditioning, for his mentorship during last season.
“Having already been part of the team, I’m confident this will be a smooth transition.”
He added: “I’m incredibly excited to be taking over at such an important time for the club, especially under the current coaching staff.
“With Allan steering us in the right direction, I look forward to building on last season’s successes and getting stuck into a great preseason with the lads.”
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “It’s great to get Nathan on board. He did a bit of work with us last year assisting Adam. He just seemed like the perfect replacement. He wants to be part of this group and that for me goes a long way.
“He’ll be a really important part of us having a successful year next year. If we can be fitter and stronger, then it puts us in a better position to finish higher than we did last year.
“I’ve got 100% confidence he’s going to improve us.”
