York City Knights update

Ahead of our Betfred Championship Round Six game against York City Knights at the LNER Community Stadium this Sunday (3pm kick-off), here’s an update for fans planning to come along to join us.

The Vikings will be looking to get back to winning ways after a league defeat to Barrow last week and cup defeat to Leigh Centurions the week prior, following four consecutive victories.

Widnes fans will be situated in the South Stand, with tickets available from the Club Shop at Widnes Market on Thursday, Friday (10am-4pm) and Saturday (10am-3pm).

Fans unable to come down the Market are able to purchase tickets directly from York’s website or on the day at the LNER Community Stadium, but are advised that the Vikings do not receive a cut of the ticket income in this case, so we would like to encourage fans to purchase tickets from the Market to help the club.

If Widnes fans wish to purchase tickets in the LNER Azuma Main Stand, they must purchase tickets directly from York City Knights as all of our allocated tickets are located in the South Stand.

If purchasing a ticket in York, supporters are advised that there are no cash turnstiles. Match tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions (17-21, 65+), and free for under-16s. Under-16s, while free, must get a ticket to gain admission to the match.

Bars and kiosks at the LNER Community Stadium will be open for the game and will take both cash and card payments, with card payments preferred.

The matchday car park at York is situated at the Monks Cross Park & Ride Car Park, less than a hundred yards from the stadium. Parking tickets can be purchased for £5 from the York Stadium Management Company Ticket office at yorkcityknights.com/tickets.

The postcode for the Monks Cross Park & Ride Car Park is YO32 9JU. There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces available. If you require one, please contact the York City Knights office on 01904 670880.

Matchday car parking within the Vangarde Shopping Centre nearby is restricted to two hours but, with a £5 purchase at any of the shops, cafes or restaurants, you can get validated car parking for up to five hours. Please visit the Vangarde Shopping Park Office, located next to Prezzo, to validate your parking.

We hope you can join us for the game as Simon Finnigan’s side look to bounce back this Sunday.
