Widnes TV Renewal Information – UPDATED

Friday 5th February marked one year since the launch of our Widnes TV channel, brought to you in order to bring you closer to the action than ever before.

Despite the 2020 Betfred Championship season being cancelled after just five rounds, we managed to bring you the full 80 minutes of every single Vikings game in 2020, along with Reserves action and plenty of behind-the-scenes footage.

While lockdown boredom set in, we worked hard to source and convert a comprehensive range of classic Widnes footage too, with full match replays of games across a number of different eras.

So far, our Widnes TV subscribers have had access to 166 hours of content, meaning that despite a long time away from the DCBL Stadium you have still been able to get your Vikings fix.

After the first batch of 12-month subscriptions came to an end, we have learned that there is NO auto-renew scheme, instead all subscribers will have to repurchase Widnes TV in order to gain another year of access.

All subscribers will get an email to say they have one day remaining on their current plan, and the following day you must sign back into your account, visit the Widnes TV page and click on the ‘RENT ALL £50.00’ button.

After clicking this button, you will be prompted to either sign in to your Vimeo account or register if you haven’t got an account – if you’re already signed in you will be asked to confirm your payment method and proceed to the checkout.

This process is the same process that took place when subscribers initially signed up for Widnes TV, however this time you will not be required to make an account – instead you will be able to make the purchase from your existing account.
