Widnes Vikings are proud to share that this year we will be supporting the
Breast Cancer Now ‘WEAR IT PINK’ Day.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.
Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
Most of us will at some point in our lives be affected by this disease,
either personally or through friends or family members.
It’s a cause that has been brought to the forefront of the thoughts of everyone at the Club this year,
so we hope that by supporting this event we can raise awareness and some funds towards this very worthwhile charity.
The Board, Players, Staff and Volunteers are all showing their support and hope that you will too by commenting on our social media accounts with your ‘WEAR IT PINK’ selfies – all the family can join in, even your pets!

We will have a lovely selection of cakes, treats and charity ribbons available for a small donation to the cause.
