The Vikings Sports Foundation have decided to take their sessions on tour this summer!
Over the next few weeks, starting on Monday 31 July, the foundation’s coaches will be out and about in the community getting young people involved in a variety of sports.
This initiative has been adopted to help Widnes Vikings become more visible in the community. Over the past three years, our free summer camps have been attended excellently, but this year the club have opted to take their sessions on the road.

As you can see, sessions will be based at various locations throughout Halton, and we would love to see you all getting involved.
The Vikings Sports Foundation we will be handing out prizes, certificates and even some kit to attendees.
Key information
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday sessions: All people need to do is arrive at the various parks and they can participate in sessions. All sessions will be free, and the foundation will be giving prizes away to participants throughout the summer
- Friday morning sessions at the DCBL: Lions Development Programme (U12s U13s, U14s). Attendees who arrive at the DCBL Stadium must have a water bottle and moulded boots to use during sessions.
Please note: Vikings staff will ask for emergency contacts and participant details for all sports sessions when children arrive.
