Widnes Vikings will travel to face York RLFC Knights in the opening round of the 2023 Betfred Championship season.
The fixture will take place at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday 5 February (3pm kick-off).
Our first HOME game of the 2023 campaign will see newly-promoted Keighley Cougars visit the DCBL Stadium on Sunday 12 February (3pm kick-off).
The Vikings’ full fixture list for the 2023 season will be announced at 5pm tomorrow.

2023 season tickets: How to purchase

- Visit the Club Shop at Widnes Market: Wednesday 11am-3pm, Thursday/Friday 10am-4pm or Saturday 10am-3pm. You can download a season ticket form to print off here
*if you wish to purchase using the finance option, make sure you add ‘MONTHLY’ as a voucher code and you will then be redirected to the finance site at checkout (details below)
Finance options
There is a finance option available which allows supporters to spread payments across 10 monthly instalments.
This is the same as last season, and a video demonstration on how to use the system is below.
The option to monthly finance your 2023 season ticket is only available until midnight on Wednesday 16 November.
Carer tickets
We will still be offering carer season tickets to those who require assistance when attending a home fixture at the DCBL Stadium.
The season ticket holder who requires a carer will pay the usual full price and will receive a second season ticket in their name free of charge – this second season ticket is to be used by their designated carer on the day. Carer season tickets do not include the benefits of Vikings Rewards.

If you had a carer ticket last season, please purchase your season ticket online as normal, and then email tickets@widnesvikings.co.uk confirming that you would like a complimentary carer ticket for 2023. New carer ticket applications must apply in full.
To be eligible for a carer season ticket, you must receive the HIGHER RATE of the mobility component on your Disability Living Allowance (DLA) OR Personal Independence Payment (PIP). A copy of your most recent DLA or PIP must be provided in order to prove your eligibility.
