ROLEASSISTANT COACH
A former pupil at Ss Fisher More High School Eddie began playing rugby with Widnes Tigers and represented Lancashire Under 15’s before embarking on a career with his home town club, subsequently moving on to Chorley and Blackpool. A lifelong Vikings fan he moved through the Academy and ‘A’ teams to make his senior debut – the highlight of his playing career – against Swinton in 1999. His coaching career began at Halton Farnworth Hornets where he coached age-group squads from Under 7 to Under 16 enjoying notable successes in various competitions and producing a handful of players currently playing in Super League. He later moved on to coach the Scholarship and Academy squads at St Helens where he won the Academy Grand Final before taking up his role as Assistant Coach with the Vikings where his main responsibilities lie with the forwards and defence. A follower of all sports, the keen supporter of Liverpool FC combines his coaching with his role as Sales Director for a Timber Import company while also enjoying family life and supporting his children in their various interests.
