Club secures initial profit-share agreement with Council

Ahead of this week’s home game against Barrow Raiders, the club is delighted to have reached a new agreement with Halton Borough Council which will allow the club to profit share on the bar takings in the Bridge Suite.

Head of Operations Chris Hamilton said: “The Board and the Council have reached this new agreement which will mean that he club will not only get part of the profits on post match bar takings in the Bridge Suite on match days, but also on any functions and events that the club puts on in the future. It is another step forward for us and underlines the new spirit of co-operation that exists between both parties.

“We are looking forward to seeing as many people as possible at the game this Sunday and will be welcoming our Sponsors, Gold and Silver season ticket holders, players, staff and their families in the Bridge Suite post match where all the match presentations will take place from now on.

“The club is really appreciative of all the fans that made the trip to Swinton on Good Friday and who provided such great support to John and the team and we are looking forward to making more announcements in the near future, which will be designed to help take the club forward.”

Paul Wright, Operational Director for Halton Borough Council, said: “A really strong relationship has been built up between the Council and Widnes Vikings and it is really satisfying to be able to help the club in this way.”
