Widnes Vikings can confirm that Mick George will be the sixth and final inductee into the club’s Hall of Fame as part of our 1975 Challenge Cup 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Mick will be officially inducted during the celebration event on Friday, 11th July, in the Bridge Suite at the DCBL Stadium, where he will join fellow legends from the club’s most iconic era.
A dynamic and versatile back, George made 296 appearances in Widnes colours, scoring an impressive 108 tries and totalling 325 points across a career packed with silverware and standout performances.
His honours include:
