INJURY UPDATE

The club can provide an update on our current injury casualties.

Jake Maizen missed Saturday’s win over Toulouse due to illness. He has now fully recovered and will return to action this weekend.

Jordan Johnstone was also absent after sustaining a concussion in our defeat to York. He has completed concussion protocols and is available for selection this week.

Dec Patton has returned to full training. He is expected to sit out this weekend’s fixture against Oldham as a precaution, with a return planned for our Round 18 clash with Doncaster.

There is positive news for Lewis Hall, who picked up an ankle ligament injury during our defeat to York. While it was initially feared to be a recurrence of the injury sustained in February, scans have confirmed it is a different ligament and will not require surgery. He will begin rehabilitation and could return as early as our trip to Sheffield in August.

Matt Fleming is now back running following the hamstring injury he suffered in May’s defeat to Featherstone. He is expected to return to full training in 2–3 weeks, with a potential comeback in late July.

Scans have confirmed that Captain Jack Owens has sustained an ankle ligament injury and is expected to be sidelined for around six weeks.

Danny Langtree is currently awaiting a second scan to determine the severity of a pectoral injury sustained in our win over London Broncos. If surgery is required, he will miss the remainder of the season.

Tom Gilmore is likely to miss the rest of the 2025 campaign after suffering a pelvic injury and a torn groin in the defeat to York two weeks ago.

As previously confirmed, Ryan Ince suffered a PCL injury in May. With an estimated recovery time of at least three months.
