VIKINGS HANDED TRIPLE INJURY BOOST AHEAD OF BATLEY CLASH

The Vikings are pleased to confirm that injuries continue to ease ahead of the start of the league season.

Furthermore, apart from long-term injury victim Martyn Reilly, things are definitely on the up.

Ahead of our Challenge Cup fifth round clash with Batley Bulldogs, Captain Jack Owens will be in line to make his return from a broken hand suffered in our pre-season fixture with Warrington. Whilst, Liam Kirk also comes back into contention after passing the RFL head injury protocols.

Sam Brooks who has had to rest a foot injury after playing through the pain barrier in early games for the club, is still about 3 weeks away from a return and Kieran Dixon is currently nursing a knee injury.

Finally, in a major boost for club and fans alike, Danny Langtree has been back in full training and will also be available for the Batley Cup tie.
