Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce that FAB Formwork and Reinforcement have extended their partnership with the club, continuing as official Kit Partners for the 2021 season.
Once again in 2021 the Fab Formwork logo will be proudly displayed on the shorts of all three Vikings First Team kits.
FAB Formwork, which is a local business, was launched three and a half years ago by Antony and Sammy Navin, providing a number of services including re-enforced concrete, shuttering and steel fixing.
The company employs over 60 people, with 80% of their workforce coming from in and around the Widnes area, mirroring their dedication towards being a local employer that shows support for our local community.
The Widnes-based business offer an extensive range of services both Regionally and Nationally with an outstanding reputation.
After taking out a number of sponsorship packages throughout the 2019 season, and also supporting the club’s fundraising efforts during administration, FAB Formwork initially became Kit Partners ahead of the 2020 season.
The Navin family are huge Widnes Vikings supporters, travelling home and away to support the club with fanatically sons Bobby and Franky. In fact it was Bobby who persuaded his parents to become Kit Partners of the club, a partnership which has been extended for the upcoming campaign.
Sammy Navin, Director at FAB Formwork, commented: “As a family who are huge Widnes Vikings supporters, we are extremely proud to continue as Kit Partners of the club in 2021.
“The whole family is missing our Sundays spent at the stadium watching rugby league, and seeing our rugby family who we attend the games with.
“Our boys are especially missing watching and playing rugby league, with Franky often asking during lockdown ‘is it Sunday, are we going the Widnes match today’, while shouting Widnes Till I Die!
“To our disappointment, we have to tell him no. We’re definitely missing the social aspects of supporting the club, as watching rugby league is a time when we come together with our friends and family.
“We can’t wait to be back in the stadium and wish the club the very best for the 2021 season.”
