Widnes Vikings can confirm that 2021 Season Tickets are now available to purchase ahead of the Betfred Championship season.
With the season starting on April 4th, supporters can now ensure that they don’t miss a minute of any of the Vikings’ home league fixtures this campaign by securing their 2021 Season Ticket.
The club have produced a package that represents great value for money, with all Adult and Concessions Season Tickets priced at just £165, while all Juniors are priced at just £50. These prices refer to both North and South Stand, with no differing Gold or Silver packages available.
Our new Adult category, which includes Concessions, will be available to those born on or before 31/8/2002, while Juniors will be those born between 1/9/2002 and 31/8/2015 with no difference between Primary or Secondary Juniors in 2021.
All children born on 1/9/2015 or later will be entitled to a free season ticket, which can be applied for online only when purchasing your own Adult Season Ticket.
All Season Ticket holders will be able to live stream Vikings home fixtures in the event that a game is played behind closed doors or there is a limited capacity lower than the number of 2021 Season Ticket holders.
Live streamed games will be broadcast via the OurLeague app, meaning all supporters will have to download the app prior to the start of the season. Our FAQs piece has a full guide on how to download the app, create an account and what devices you’re able to view games on.
Buying a Season Ticket is the only way to place yourself at the front of the queue in the event of limited capacity fixtures, with general sale only taking place in the event that tickets are available once all Season Ticket holders have been accommodated and guidelines permitting.
If the number of Season Ticket holders exceeds the limited capacity for any home fixture, Season Ticket holders will be entered into a random ballot for a ticket. Those who are unsuccessful in the ballot will automatically be guaranteed a ticket for the following home fixture if capacity limits are still in place, and will also still be able to live stream the fixture(s) they do not receive a ticket for.
Following the recent government announcement we are hoping to welcome back supporters from Monday 17th May, which will mean there could be a crowd at our home fixture with Whitehaven RLFC on Sunday 23rd May. This is subject to any changes to government guidelines surrounding the pandemic and supporters returning to sports stadiums, and more details will be given once they are available.
In 2021 the South Stand will be closed initially due to social distancing measures being in place to best ensure the health and safety of players, club and stadium staff and also supporters.
Despite this, supporters will still be able to purchase South Stand Season Tickets and in the event that we’re able to re-open the stand, supporters will be able to relocate there.
All existing South Stand Season Ticket holders who donated their refund back to the club in 2020 and have renewed in 2021 will have their seat reserved for the 2022 campaign. In the event that the South Stand reopens to supporters during the 2021 season it will be unallocated for this season only, before returning to normal in 2022.
There will be no finance option for 2021, however all Season Tickets are available via our new three-month payment option which will be launched on Thursday 11th March, allowing you to spread the cost of a Season Ticket over three equal monthly payments.
Full information on the three-month payment option can be found by clicking the button below.
