Xeenie Engineering Group on board for 2026 season

Widnes Vikings are pleased to confirm their latest addition to the 2026 commercial family, with Xeenie Engineering Group joining us for the upcoming season.

The Halifax-based company will offer a whole host of sponsorship for the 2026 season including, general matchday sponsors, kit partnership and sponsoring the coverage of the Future Vikings games.

XEENIE are also the personal sponsor of Vikings commercial partnerships manager David Rolt.

Speaking on the partnership, Rolt said: “XEENIE are a growing engineering group with big aspirations. They’re heading in the right direction – it’s quite a substantial investment, but its’s always nice to have new companies on board.

“They will be beneficiaries of the extensive reach that the Widnes Vikings media channels have, which they’ll be looking to utilise. They can also capitalise on the brand awareness that comes with being on the kit.”

During a tour of the Vikings stadium, XEENIE managing director Jared Robertshaw said: “I’m very impressed with it [the stadium]. I’ve been to some other rugby clubs in the past and this is pretty good.

“I have a close relationship with Dave Rolt so I always hear about the club, and with the new management and the enthusiasm around the direction of the club, I just thought, “yeah, let’s get involved with this”.

“From a business perspective, it’s a good way to put our brand out there and grow, as well as having some fun along the way.

“Everyone involved with the club is looking to push it forward. I think it’s a good time to invest, so let’s see what happens.”
