Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce the renewed partnership with WSR Recycling Limited for the 2021 season.
The sponsorship deal will once again see the brand appear on the playing shirts and around the stadium.
WSR Recycling is a Widnes based business, and their £1.7m ‘recycling centre’ is located only minutes away from the Vikings stadium on Ditton Road.
WSR pride themselves on supporting local businesses, which is apparent once again as they continue to partner with the club in 2021.
The business provides a total and sustainable waste solution throughout the region for commercial and domestic customers. Their circular-economy system collects, treats and separates waste, creating renewable fuel and recyclables which re-enter the market to create new products.
WSR offer a range of waste services to local businesses and households, including pubs, shops, offices and restaurants in the Widnes area, and are dedicated to recruiting staff locally.
Throughout the pandemic, WSR has also worked to support local communities, along with other businesses in the Beauparc Group they have undertaken 3D printing of face visors for the NHS and donated hundreds of thousands of PPE items throughout the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Robert Waters, WSR Recycling’s Operations Director commented “We’re delighted to be able to support the Vikings again as we look forward to the 2021 season.
“This year has been a challenge for everyone; we’ve worked hard to support our customer base through difficult times and have forged a real sense of community.
“The whole team at WSR is behind the Vikings.”
