Widnes Vikings youngsters Will Tilleke and Josh Wilde will make their debuts against West Wales Raiders today, in the club’s Challenge Cup Round 1 tie.
Will Tilleke (21) is a Widnes born prop forward who has represented the club at Under 19s and Reserves level. The former Saints Peter and Paul pupil played for Halton Farnworth Hornets at community level, going on to also feature for Lancashire Under 15s and 16s before earning a deal with his hometown club.
Josh Wilde (20), a second rower from Wigan, is another product of the club’s academy having earned a First Team deal for the 2021 season with his impressive performances for the Reserves last year.
