Our women’s team are on the lookout for new players – so if you’re aged 17 and over, this opportunity could be for you.
The Vikings Women play in the Championship – the highest community league in the country, one step below the Betfred Women’s Super League.
Team manager Catherine Wills said: “We are quite a close team, we’ve been together for a little while now.
“We’ve had some good additions this year, which has been brilliant, so it’ll be nice to get people onboard and join the team.
“We have a gym session on a Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm and a pitch slot from 7:30-8:30pm on a Wednesday, and anyone is more than welcome to join.”
Prior experience playing rugby league isn’t necessary, and individuals who are interested in getting involved can either contact the club for further details, or head along to one of the club’s training sessions and speak to a member of the coaching team.
