Widnes Vikings announce record Apparel Partnership with Debeau Performance

Widnes Vikings have signed a landmark two-year Apparel Partnership with rising sportswear brand Debeau Performance, marking the largest agreement of its kind in the club’s history.

The partnership ushers in a new era for the Vikings, with Debeau Performance becoming the primary provider of the club’s training range as well as its official kit and apparel supplier.

Under the agreement, Debeau Performance will supply a full range of products across the entire Vikings organisation, including the Mens, Womens, Wheelchair and Learning Disability teams. Supporters will also have access to an extensive selection of both club-branded and Debeau Performance retail garments.

Fans can expect to see the rebranding of the club shop in the coming weeks as it adopts the Debeau Performance look. New products will begin launching following the highly anticipated kit unveiling on December 8 – one of the standout moments of the club’s social calendar.

The new merchandise will be available both in-store and via the club’s online shop, with more information to follow as items are released.

Debeau Performance Director, Emma Hadfield, said: “We are delighted to partner with Widnes Vikings a club steeped in history with a clear ambition of enhancing their image and profile with the fans. We love their vision and new logo that aligns with our passion for our brand and working with combined ideas to produce quality designs and garments that we are sure their fans will love once they land. We love the new logo and identity and are proud to be part of what is going to be an exciting time for the club. We look forward to the launch and the fans reaction to the new look.

Club Chairman Stuart Murphy shared his excitement about the partnership, praising the work of Debeau Performance designer Brad Edwards, whose long association with the Vikings under previous suppliers has helped shape a kit range he now describes as his “personal favourite.”

“This is a very exciting time for the club and is something that has been developing for many months,” said Murphy.

“We are really pleased with the kit designs and can’t wait to get these in store and online. This rebrand is just the next step we see as the club continues on its quest. Kit launch will take place on 8th December where Commercial Partners and fans alike will get a first glimpse of the new ranges provided by Debeau Performance who will also be attending the event with a few surprises of their own.”
