Vikings players Jordan Johnstone, Nick Gregson, and Matt Fleming made the latest visit of the ’12 visits of Christmas’
Marie Gaffney, 66, & Paul Gaffney, 70, are married and were nominated for a visit from the Vikings by their niece Kelly Keenan.
Kelly believed they deserved a visit from the Vikings as her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and since then, they make sure he gets to every appointment for his treatment.
They also take Kelly’s dad & mum on fantastic adventures to make memories that will live on.
Both Marie and Paul are big Widnes fans, so to provide them with the opportunity to meet some of the players they love was fantastic.
Everyone at the club commends Marie and Paul for the selfless efforts they are making for their family and it was great to see how pleased they were to meet Jordan, Nick, and Matt!
