Free rugby league and physical activity camps will return during February half-term for children from School Year 1 all the way up to School Year 8.
The camps are a fantastic opportunity for children to engage in sport and physical activity on the very pitch our first team players play, and for the children to be coached by our highly experienced and inspirational staff.
There will be a variety of fun activities available for the children to take part in, all children will receive a free packed lunch at the DCBL Stadium. This is part of our strategy to ensure all children have equal opportunity to engage with us and has been made possible by the generous support of The Ombudsman, Ditton Deli and Halton Borough Council.
First-team players and coaching staff will be there to host the activities and offer guidance to the children who come along, including club captain Jack Owens and longest-serving player Danny Craven, linking into the club’s vision to transform lives through sport.
The free camps will run between Monday 21 February and Friday 25 February.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be for children from School Years 1-5, and they can be dropped off at the designated drop-off time of 8.30am and picked up at 1pm at the car park of the DCBL Stadium.
Tuesday and Thursday will be for children in Years 6, 7 and 8, with the same drop-off time of 8.30am and pick-up time of 1pm at the car park.
