This past Friday, Head of Operations, Chris Hamilton attended the official opening of Cronton Sixth Form College’s new Centre of Sport and Public Services.
Supporting the club’s partners on the opening of their newest facility, Hamilton said: “With £8 million invested into the new Centre of Sport and Public Services at Cronton Sixth Form College this is another example of the major investment our partners make into the local community.
“The facilities were outstanding, and the students have everything they could wish for. We are fortunate to have such a progressive partner involved with the club and it was a privilege to be invited to the opening.”
The innovative project has been designed to ensure students leave Cronton Sixth Form College prepared to be part of a resilient future workforce with the skills needed to support regional and national economic growth whilst also supporting the health and well-being of the community.
The new facilities include a state-of-the-art gym, multi-use sports hall, and outdoor functional training zone.
