Widnes Vikings can today announce our squad for the pre-season fixture with Workington Town this Sunday 7 January (3pm)
As previously announced, new signings Danny Langtree (shoulder) and Martyn Reilly (knee) are both unavailable for this fixture as they recover from pre-season surgeries.
Liam Bent is absent as he builds back up from an ACL injury suffered last season, whilst Callum Field misses out with a minor knock.
New signing Mike Butt will also be absent from this fixture as Allan Coleman seeks to give more playing time to his wingers in pre-season, to get a better look at his options for 2024, ‘Butty’ will definitely feature in the fixture against Whitehaven next weekend for Jack Owens’ Testimonial.
