Widnes Vikings can today announce our squad for the pre-season fixture with Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this Friday 26 January (7:30pm)
Liam Bent returns to the Vikings squad for the first time since his ACL injury last season.
Charlie McCurrie is included in the Vikings squad for the final pre-season friendly game at Warrington on Friday night.
McCurrie, who is the son of former player Steve McCurrie, has been training with the club as a trialist for several weeks.
Vice-Captain Callum Field remains unavailable after tweaking his calf, as do Martyn Reilly & Danny Langtree who are recovering from surgeries.
Vikings prop Liam Kirk will also miss this Friday’s game against Warrington.
Kirk, 26, will marry his fiancee, Aoife, in Ireland this weekend and is therefore unavailable due to this long standing arrangement!
