Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce that Wigan Warriors winger, Reagan Sumner has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season.
Sumner joins from the Warriors having spent time on loan with Barrow Raiders this season and will be available for selection ahead of Sunday’s trip to Whitehaven.
As with all season-long loans, Wigan hold a recall clause.
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “It’s great to get Reagan over the line. He’s a player who I’ve been watching for 12 months at Wigan.
“He reminds me of Liam Marshall with his stature, how he presents himself, and his quickness when he carries the ball.
“He’s a great player who has a big career ahead of him, so it is really exciting for us to get a young name in the game who can really improve us as a team.”
The club will have a Dual Registration agreement with the Warriors to allow Sumner to play for their reserves when he is not needed by the Vikings.
