Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce that Oldham halfback, Kieran Tyrer has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season.
As with all season-long loans, Oldham hold a recall clause.
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “Bringing Kieran in was a no-brainer for us.
“He’s a young kid I’ve watched from his days at Leigh Miners Rangers and he’s been to a few professional clubs now where he’s probably not had the right opportunities.
“We had no real cover in our halves so bringing Kieran in now gives us three or four options in almost every position across the team which is something we need going into the run-in.”
