Widnes Vikings are pleased to announce the signing of Brett Bailey on an initial two-week loan from St Helens.
The young prop has spent time on loan for Whitehaven so far this season, even featuring for the Cumbrian club two weeks ago in the 28-28 draw with the Vikings at the DCBL Stadium.
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “Brett is a Widnes lad and somebody whose progress we have been keeping an eye on.
“He is signed initially on a 2-week deal but is somebody that can definitely come in and do a job for us.
“He is a big lad and although still in the early stages of his first team development, wants to learn and make himself better.”
Bailey will be available for selection ahead of this Sunday’s trip to York.
