Vikings are once again opening the Fan Zone before and after this Sunday’s home game against London Broncos.
The zone will be known as The Longhouse, which is the name given to a Viking’s home.
Chris Hamilton, Head of Operations said: “Featherstone was obviously the first game where we did a FanZone and we were delighted with the response, from the fans.
“As we said, we are looking to improve things each time and grow the number of people using it, creating a great atmosphere, and generating additional money for the club.

“We have named it The Longhouse, to keep within the Vikings theme and this week we have an even bigger list of activities going on, as we said we would.
“The Longhouse will open at 12.30 so fans have more time to spend together and will remain open until 7pm. These will be the new, regular times of opening.
“In addition, after the success of last time, we will have draught beer on sale. There will be drink discounts as per our previous agreement with the stadium.
“For younger Vikings, there will be tattoos, face painting, giveaways and games. There will be a club shop with heavily discounted stock for sale.
“Liam Hillier will again be singing before and after the game and there will be a pre-match interview with Widnes legend and Great Britain World Cup winner, George Nicholls.
“Moreover, we will announce the Widnes 17 to face the Broncos, then straight after the game, the post-match presentations to the Man of the Match, the Champagne Moment winner, and the May Player of the Month whilst still wearing their kit, as well as John Kear’s post-match thoughts.

“Throughout the afternoon, Magic Weekend matches will be shown on the TV’s.
“Finally, we will also be doing a raffle exclusively for people in The Longhouse to win a signed Widnes Vikings Summer bash shirt at just £1 a strip.
