The Vikings can announce that Sunday’s home game against Batley Bulldogs will now kick off at 2:30pm.
The decision has been made to change the kick-off time because if England were to win their group tomorrow night, it would mean that their Euro 2024 Round of 16 game, will kick off at 5pm on the day of the Batley game.
With this in mind, and with the agreement of the Bulldogs, we have now brought the kick-off forward by 30 minutes.
This will allow both teams to shower post-match and have their food before kick-off and will allow time for the Vikings post-match presentations to take place before the England match.
Vikings will be showing the game, free of charge, in the Bridge Suite for fans of both sides and we hope to get a big take-up.
Batley have confirmed they will stay to watch the game.
