Vikings and Riverside College providing remote learning

The Vikings Learning Centre are working closely with Education Partners Riverside College to provide remote learning opportunities to students during the current national lockdown.

During lockdowns in 2020, the VLC and Riverside College worked together to bring their Employability and Sports courses online so that members of the local community could gain free qualifications.

All of the current courses run by the Vikings Sports Foundation are being held online, following a return to classroom based sessions prior to the recent national lockdown.

There are currently three spaces available for the NCFE Level One Certificate – Sport Studies & Employability Skills course, with students able to enrol now.

By studying with the Vikings Learning Centre you will access a host of benefits, which includes bolstering your CV and managing relationships in the workplace.

Completion of our courses will also help you to learn valuable skills surrounding interviews, ICT and time management, which will aid you in securing employment and developing vital skills.

To enrol on the Vikings Learning Centre course, please contact Cheryl McGivern on cherylm@widnesvikings.co.uk to register your interest or for more info.
