Job Title: Women’s Team Manager

Job Summary:
Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club is seeking a dedicated and organised Team Manager to oversee and facilitate the smooth operation of our Women’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities, managing team logistics, and ensuring effective communication between players, coaches, and staff. This role is vital for fostering a positive team environment and promoting the club’s values on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the team’s activities, including scheduling of training and matches. This will also include liaising with other clubs regarding matches.
- Ensure training sessions are well-organized, with all necessary equipment ready and available.
- Communicate effectively with players, coaching staff, and club officials to relay important information.
- Work with the Foundation Director and Finance Sub-Committee to produce accurate annual budget forecasts.
- Oversee team logistics, including transportation to matches and accommodation arrangements when needed.
- Assist in the onboarding of new players and facilitate the integration into the team culture. This will involve using RFL Gameday app.
- Liaise with the player welfare officer as required.
- Support the coaching staff with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Team Training Times:
- Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Matches are primarily played on a Sunday from March-October.
