Widnes Vikings head coach Simon Finnigan was pleased with how his side bounced back to beat Oldham 62-4 at home in Round 20 of the Betfred Championship.
Braces from Adam Lawton, Ollie Brookes and Deon Cross as well as tries from Shane Grady, Connor Aspey, Kenny Baker, Danny Craven and Ste Tyrer gave the Vikings a resounding victory over the Roughyeds.
Simon picked out the performances of youngsters Brookes and Will Tilleke as particularly important to his team’s victory.
