Simon Finnigan praised his side’s effort levels in their defeat at home to Leigh Centurions, with several players missing from the match.
The Vikings went into the game with eight injuries and suffered a further three during it, but showed character despite the result going against them.
Simon also praised the response from the fans once again, and urged as many as possible to come down to support the team at home to Batley Bulldogs on Sunday as Widnes look to turn the tide.
